Yep, it’s true; you can get a Red Hot Youpon through the end of May. That’s 5 classes for $25. Enjoy and remember, if you use the first five you bought, just hook yourself right back up. We want you to be able do yoga because it’s good for you.
You don’t need a reservation to take a class – we don’t even accept them – so check the schedule (it’s always current), roll up your mat, and come on down. We’ve got the biggest studios in the Southeast, and if you don’t fit, we’ll buy you a class, so you’ve got nothing to lose.
Welcome Groupon friends!
If you are new to the studio, you can speed up the check-in process by doing two things:
1. print out this RHY – New Student Card! and bring it to the studio filled out.
2. Then, set up your on-line account by clicking the Online Account button to your right. This account will let you track how many classes you’ve taken, purchase classes, and it automatically adds you to our email list, which is important because we’ll let you know about deals…
Now, here’s what most folks want to know before buying:
1. You have 6 months to redeem the Groupon, then another year to use it.
2. There is no small print or additional requirement. You buy 10 or 20 classes and enjoy them.
3. You are welcome to come to any class on the schedule, with the one exception of the Advanced class, and you ust need to have practiced for a while to really enjoy that one. if you have questions about it, let me know!
4. We have mats and towels for rent, and water for purchase – or you can bring your own, as most folks do.
5. We don’t have lockers, but we do have lots of shelves and places for your gear.
6. The Saturday 12:30 For The People Class class is free, but we do accept donations that go to animal charities and shelters.
7. You do not have to pre-register to come to class. Just pick a time, bring your coupon (on your phone is fine) and arrive 15 or 20 minutes before the class begins.
8. Please let us know if you have any injuries or medical conditions. We can offer modifications and help with poses.
I am happy to answer any other questions! Please keep in mind that I will receive hundreds (seriously) of calls and emails, so bear with me as I return everything as fast as I can. In the mean-time, everything we have set up is designed to be as convenient as possible with as few steps as possible!
Welcome to the studio!!

Groupon expiration stress got you down?
We’ve got good news – not only can we alleviate that by extending all of your Groupon expirations until April 30th, we can also take care of the stress that has already gripped you with a niiiice, hot class!
Yep, we’ve done it before, and we’re doing it again – Groupon expirations are extended until April 30th, 2012. The thing is, we really want you to get to use your classes, and we figure there are enough things in life that will stress you out – it just wouldn’t be right to let yoga to be one of them. So come on in, let the yoga do what it does best, and go back out into the world with a smile on your face.
Also, please note that my answering service has crashed again, so if you left a message (and many, many of you did) it probably got zapped. Fortunately, I finally figured out that this happens around “expiration time” and will take measures to correct it. And, please remember that email is always better than a phone message in that I can answer them much more quickly and in more detail.
Now, on to other cool stuff: this weekend, March 17 & 18th, our current Teacher Trainers are graduating! This means that they will be teaching special classes, and we invite all to attend them at no charge (You do need to bring your own mat, towel and water), and give the trainers a nice, large group to teach to! The times are listed on our Teacher Training page (link above).
Bethany’s next training begins May 4th, and it is limited to 20 trainers, so if you are interested, contact us ASAP.
We’ll have some other cool news to announce soon, so stay tuned here, on Facebook, and make sure you are on our email list.

If you have a Groupon and are new to the studio, welcome! Here’s everything you need to know!
1. No reservations are ever needed! Just pick the class you want to come to and arrive 15 to 20 minutes early.
2. Once you redeem your voucher, you have 1 full year to use your classes, so no worries about expirations.
3. We have mats for you! They’re free for your first class and only a buck after that. We also have towels and bottles of water, or you can bring all of your own gear.
4. Everyone brings water into the class with them.
5. You rest whenever you want to.
6. Make sure to let the instructor know if you have any injuries. We can really help with that stuff, so don’t be shy!
7. IMPORTANT! Most folks depend on these classes to de-stress and they very much like to wind-down in the room before class begins. Please be as courteous and quiet as possible. You’ll understand after your first class!
Last, you can speed up the check-in process by doing two things: 1. print out this RHY – New Student Card! and bring it to the studio filled out. 2. Then, set up your on-line account by clicking the Gift Certificate – Online Store button to your right. This account will let you track how many classes you’ve taken, purchase classes, and it automatically adds you to our email list, which is important because we’ll let you know about deals…

Welcome to Red Hot Yoga!
If you’re new, welcome to our studio! If you’ve bought any of the deals, here’s the quick version of what to do next:
1. You don’t need a reservation. Just pick any class on the schedule and arrive 15 or 20 minutes before the start time.
2. You’ll need proof of your deal purchase, and to speed things up, print off a RHY – New Student Card.
3. You’ll also need a mat, a towel, and water. If you don’t have these things, don’t worry! We’ve got them all for sale or rent.
That’s it! Once we get you signed in, you’ll get ready for class. We’ve got changing rooms and showers, and plenty of shelves to store your gear on. Once your ready, you’ll set up your mat in the room and lay down before class begins.
*Please stay quiet in the room before and after classes! Lots of folks use this time to relax before class.
*You’ll leave everything but your mat, towel and water with your gear. Please turn off or silence all of your electronics, and don’t bring them into the room!
*Once class begins, the instructor will talk you through the poses. Just follow along, stick to the poses they are teaching, and do what you can. You’ll get a little bit more flexible each time you practice, and you’ll be surprised how quickly you make progress! Also, if you ever get tired, just lay on your mat to rest.
Our complete schedule is posted on our Schedule page, so just click on the link above to see it. It’s always updated, and we don’t change it very often, but we do post updates there (as well as here) in case of bad weather.
To take a class, just choose the time you would like to come in, and arrive about 15 or 20 minutes before the start time listed. No reservations are necessary (we have the biggest room in the city, baby!) and all you need to bring is a mat, a towel (one to put over your mat, and one for after class) and some water. We do have mats, towels and water in case you suddenly find yourself in desperate need of a yoga class (which does happen, and more often than you may realize, heh).
Want to speed things up? Print off this New Student Info card, RHY – New Student Card! , fill ‘er out, bring ‘er in, and please pay close attention to the part about injuries!
Then, If you are new, go for the Hot class! You will practice as the instructor describes each pose in detail, lay down to rest when you need to, and feel the benefits after your first class!
A few common rules of studio etiquette are to keep quiet when in the yoga room, leave all of your belongings, especially electronics, outside of the room (and on silent), and to be courteous in general to all of the people around you!
There are more detailed tips on the First Timers page, so check it out when you have a moment. Any other questions? Go to our About Us page, drop down to Contact Us, and email or call. Then, we’ll see you in class!
This studio is owned and operated by Bethany & Wes Vaughn (and Lachlan) and represents all of the experience we’ve gained over the last nine years. It’s the fifth studio we’ve built, and is by far our favorite.
The studio is 4200 square feet with two large yoga rooms and spacious changing rooms, both with two showers.
The space used to belong to a company that sold and installed antique wood flooring, so the entire studio is floored in wide plank hardwood and pine. Some of the wood is over 100 years old, and several different styles and finishes are featured throughout the studio. It’s lovely to walk and practice on, and you can get some great ideas for your next home renovation!
We took no chances with the heat. We’ve installed two massive heat blowers that are gas fed (our favorite), and let us control the heat to the degree. In a word, these units are awesome. To balance out the heat, we’ve also installed two industrial strength humidifiers, so the room feels just right.
There are lots of other nice touches as well. There’s a nice seating area, plenty of space to store your gear, iPads to sign in with, and an ice cream cooler that keeps the water chilled nicely.
If you have any questions, you can email or call us, but the best thing to do is to come on in and see us!
Welcome!
